Description: Enzymes is a multidisciplinary, multilingual, irregular and free access online journal covering a wide range of topics in the field of natural philosophy such as cosmology, anthropology, psychoanalysis, neurobiology, jurisprudence, religious studies and others. The journal was founded by Dr. Andrej Poleev in 2003 in the form of Samizdat. A similar term was introduced by russian poet Nikolai Glazkov in the 1940s. Parodying the ceremonious names of the official printing organs of Soviet official publishing houses, such as Politizdat (Политиздат, political publishing house), Detizdat (Детиздат, literature for children), etc., he typed copies of his poems indicating "Samsebyaizdat" (Самиздат, myselfpublishing) on the front page. >>>
